Explore the Wisdom of Myths:
Find clarity and connection in Motherhood
If you're deep in mothering, riding the challenges and changes that deep care brings, and could benefit from some space to consider the art and history of mothering, this is for you. The world’s fast-paced rhythm of change can feel overwhelming and hard to fathom. But the relationships and themes of caring in parenthood are the same as they have ever been.
Our physiology and nervous systems are the same as out ancestors, so let's take some time to bring them to mind and lean into some of their knowledge. Motherhood is a time of deep change, not only in our identity but also in how our bodies, minds, and emotions respond to the world around us. This 6-week course offers a space to explore these changes and find new ways to feel grounded, connected, and calm.
We’ll lay the foundations of myth and motherhood—exploring stories and symbols that help us understand the shifts we go through as mothers. Then focusing on practical ways to support your nervous system, reconnect with yourself, and make sense of your new role.
Are you a mum feeling the pull between who you were and who you’re becoming?

Understanding Motherhood & Your Changing Identity
Motherhood is an incredible journey, but it’s also one that can bring about deep shifts in your identity, emotions, and relationships. This experience, known as matrescence, is like a second adolescence—full of challenges and growth. Yet, it’s rarely talked about.
In this free workshop, we’ll explore how ancient myths and symbols, like the Triple Goddess (the Maiden, Mother, and Crone), can help you make sense of these changes. We’ll also discuss the idea of the Good Enough Mother—a concept that encourages you to let go of the pressure to be perfect and instead embrace a more balanced, fulfilling approach to motherhood.
This short intro is with storyteller and Jungian life coach, Gemma Hannah, and embodiment coach and doula, Emilie Joy Rowell. It will give you a sense of how ancient lore can help guide us in our lives, through connection, embodiment practices and recognising ourselves in these stories and symbols.
Join us and other m/others on this path of discovery, where together we will reframe motherhood not just as a role, but as a sacred, transformative journey.
